Place Gas Main

  1. In Command Manager, select Gas Main from the Gas Mains group.
  2. Click on the Place Feature Icon or double click on the selected Feature to start the placement command.

  3. Click on the Line Segment Mode Icon.

  4. Change the default property values as necessary in the Placement Form.

  5. Click on a start location. If the data point is within the connectivity tolerance of other Network Features (Device, Fitting, Station or Gas Mains) a network connectivity relationship is established with that feature.
  6. Place more data points to add vertices to the new Gas Main.
  7. Right-Click (Reset) to stop the placement at the last vertex location. . If the data point is within the connectivity tolerance of other Network Features (Device, Fitting, Station or Gas Main) a network connectivity relationship is established with that feature.
  8. Click at a location to place Annotation Text.
Note: The last step only occurs when attribute text is defined for the feature and auto-attribution is enabled. Additional steps are required when more than one attribute text is defined.
